Hajj & Umrah Immunisation Services at Swift Pharmacy

Vaccinations Required for Hajj and Umrah

  • To protect all pilgrims and prevent the spread of infectious diseases, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requires proof of certain vaccinations before entry:

    • Meningitis (ACWY) – Mandatory for all pilgrims. You must show a valid certificate of vaccination with the quadrivalent (ACWY) meningococcal vaccine, administered at least 10 days before arrival. For more information about ACWY vaccine please click here.

    • COVID-19 – Strongly recommended. Current vaccination requirements may vary based on the latest public health guidance.

    • Seasonal Influenza – Recommended, especially for elderly pilgrims, those with chronic conditions, or healthcare workers.

    • Additional vaccinations may be recommended based on your health status and travel itinerary (e.g., Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, or polio).
